Summer 2005

Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to announce the next session of our award-winning Commercial Building Inspection Course, scheduled for Nov. 10-12, 2005 , in Atlanta, Georgia at the IUSA Training Institute.  The fee for the session, including the course textbook and lunches, is $US 1,895. That’s approximately what you may earn on your first two commercial inspections!

v   Now is the time!

If you ever thought you would like to inspect commercial buildings, there has never been a better time than now.

§         A commercial building inspection lands about 40-80% more money than a residential inspection for the same amount of time!

§         A home inspection company that does commercial inspections is more highly respected than a company that does residential alone!

§         Commercial clients are typically more professional and “bottom line” oriented.

The Carson Dunlop Weldon Commercial Inspection Building Course is hot. It’s three action-packed days and covers all you need to know to get your Commercial Inspection Division up and running. Our instructors are professional engineers, with over ten years of commercial building inspection experience.

v   Pre-requisites

You must be an experienced home inspector in the residential sector. Without a good grasp of inspecting single-family residential houses, this course will be too advanced for you.v

v   Course Materials

We will provide our comprehensive commercial inspection textbook. You will leave with a wealth of information including sample inspection reports, consultants’ reports, and information on quoting inspections, report writing, costing and relevant business issues.

v   What should you expect?

You’ll learn how to get into the commercial inspection business. We will cover everything from business practices to technical inspection, with special emphasis on the “the team approach” to commercial inspections. You will learn where and when a consultant is required and how to find and work with consultants. The course is also approved for 20 cahpi(bc) and ashi® Membership Renewal Credits, 16 creiasm Continuing Education Credits and 24 NAHI CEUs.

Coffee breaks and full lunches are also included in your fee.

v   Accommodations:
